Taking Inspiration From The World Around Us
When the time comes for us to sit down and design our biannual collections, we draw upon the places we have been and things we have seen.
The team delves into their photos from family holidays, city breaks and day trips to find inspiration. We call upon shapes and textures that we have seen; whether that’s the shadows thrown from the palm trees on a Thai beach, or a cog found during a trip to the Science Museum, we can find beauty in the most ordinary objects. The team are well versed in looking out for ‘moments’ for our vision boards and often find their camera rolls full of imagery and snippets.
Our head office is in Northamptonshire, UK, a county just over an hour away from the capital city. Northamptonshire has always been known for producing luxury, but its most renowned export is luxury leather shoes – the home of many households name brands that are synonymous with quality, durability, and classic British style. Often worn by some of the UK famed Sartorial heroes; Royalty & James Bond to name a few. Being surrounded by such rich, & creative fashion history, means its inevitable that we also look to British heritage for inspiration.
It would be remiss of us, not to also look at current trends when pulling together our creative, we are always excited to give something a try for a season, for example we have Leopard Print cufflinks in our collection, these might feel novelty but compliment a lot of suit options and add real depth and texture. Four our wedding collections, we strive to design styles that are traditional with a hint of contemporary in popular wedding colours to compliment wedding day aesthetics.
